Description:
Our client, a leading supplier of medical laboratory equipment, now have a new vacancy for an Internal Sales Co-Ordinator.
Working within a busy sales environment with 15 field sales personnel and two other internal sales co-ordinators.
Duties include dealing with incoming enquiries by phone, preparation of price quotations, processing orders, providing internal support for the external sales people, liasing with the Finance Department regarding invoicing orders, managing sales records and supplying product information to customer base on a regular basis.
Main Responsibilities:
Dealing with incoming phone enquiries, commercial and technical.
Processing sales orders and query resolution on a day-to-day basis.
Provide product information to existing and new customer base.
Prepare price quotations for all departmental sales leads.
Communication with suppliers.
Provide office administration for external product specialists.
Liaising with Business Unit Managers and Product Specialists and other departments within the company.
Prepare departmental reporting as requested on a regular basis.
Involvement with occasional marketing campaigns.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Life Sciences/Applied Sciences.
Ability to learn quickly and to work under pressure.
A high level of competency in Excel and Word would be essential.
Knowledge of integrated system solution type software would be an advantage.
Be a flexible team player, be able to work independently, prioritise own work and maintain confidentiality of information.
Have a positive attitude and be pro-active, have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure and within short time constraints.
