Our client a leading supplier of specialised scientific equipment now have a vacancy for a Product Sales Specialist. Territory, nationwide.
As a result of continued sales growth they are now looking for an experienced Salesperson to join the team and drive the existing business forward within Ireland.
You will enjoy taking ownership of the role, working within a small dedicated team and reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
This field sales executive position will involve selling a range of food testing products, grain tests and water analyses products to a wide range of agricultural customers on the island of Ireland and will require that your sales, new business and account management capabilities are first class.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be fully responsible for hitting all your targets for the products that you are responsible for.
There will be opportunities to provide input to marketing and guide the direction of the business. The target market for the role will be Food scientists and Quality Control managers working in Food laboratories, food processing industry, universities, or the Government research and regulation areas.
A basic knowledge of food microbiology / microbiology, biotechnology, and other sciences will be essential.
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a food microbiology or microbiology science degree or equivalent
Be highly experienced in agricultural and food testing sales / territory management
Have an outstanding sales track record and an industry reputation as a “top performer”
Develop and utilize a wide network of farmer and laboratory customers in Ireland
Clearly understand the customer's business, being able to inject value appropriately through differentiating product offerings
Have finely tuned selling skills
Be comfortable with your strong technical product knowledge
