Our client is currently looking to recruit a Study Start Up Manager for Barcelona.
Role Responsibility
You will be responsible for providing strong leadership and effectively managing the activities of Study Start Up (SSU). You may be responsible for more than one country and will oversee all associated staff affiliated to the SSU function, ensuring all milestones and quality targets are met and that costs are kept under control.
Additional Responsibilities
•Coordinating and managing the activities of all country or countries SSU projects and teams members to ensure all timeframes are met and budgets are tracked and status is effectively communicated. •Present a high profile within the business, providing experience and ability to manage projects/assignments while maintaining strong relations with cross functional teams.
•Acting as a country/multi-country specialist
•Developing, motivating and mentoring team members.. Providing management support to local staff whilst keeping turnover levels to a minimum and assisting with the recruitment and selection of staff.
•Effectively managing change within the department be involved with initiatives and control the country deliverables
Experience and Qualification
·Preferably with a degree in Life Sciences, you will have previous submissions/dossier experience within clinical studies for either a CRO or Pharma company.
· Minimum of 6 years relevant clinical research experience with proven study start up experience including the ability to manage all aspects of study start up for assigned countries
