Role Responsibility
The successful candidate will oversee the acquisition of new contracts for the comapny.  This role involves liaising at a senior level with Operational heads of other departments directly impacted by new business wins such as Clinical Operations, Planning & Resource Management and HR. 


Additional Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the proposal, contract and change order process by supporting the Senior Director in pursuit and recognition of revenue generation.
You will be keen to develop existing and new relationships with key decision makers at targeted accounts and maintain a high level of understanding of the decision making process with all major sponsors, ensuring that all proposal/contract details, client meetings, RFP information and relevant updates are captured and maintained within the Sales Force. 
Managing the bid defence process you will also ensure regular communication with clinical project teams in order to secure the potential for repeat business and maximise opportunities for feedback.
You must be able to demonstrate cross functional collaboration with the Functional and Therapeutic Heads beyond the proposal development process.
You will draw on your extensive previous experience to motivate and develop the team to ensure continued success with business wins and continued levels of quality service to existing clients.
Contribute to annual performance reviews and goal setting for European sales team.
Maintain electronic copies of all relevant documents to include but not limited to the following:  RFPs, proposals, email (client and internal), territory business plans, etc.
Complete full sales reports, as required.
 
Experience and Qualification
With a University degree you will have at least 3 years sales experience within the clinical trial industry.
You will have knowledge of ICG GCP guidelines and expertise to review and evaluate medical data
Your ability to work alone and in a multi-functional team environment coupled with sound understanding of the principals of Key Account Management will be essential to the success of this role
Fluent in English as well as the local language of the host country
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal enabling you to deal with queries in a timely manner
Ability to produce accurate work to tight deadlines within a pressurised environment
Computer literate with Microsoft Office
Must be available to travel international and domestic at least 60% fly and drive and should possess a valid driving license.
